Hyperscale campus of up to 10 buildings of 72MW each, 720MW in total (the planning application described about 1.1GW of power), on the former Blyth Power Station coal yards, backed by Blackstone. Northumberland County Council approved the detailed application in March 2025 and reserved matters for phase one in December 2025, with site preparation under way in 2026.
