Cardiff East Park and Ride data centre

Hybrid planning application by Curtis Hall for a data centre, energy centre, substation and a bridge over the Rhymney River on the 23.4-hectare Cardiff East Park and Ride site off Eastern Avenue (A48). Planning documents describe a temporary 49.9MW gas-turbine energy centre and a 150MW grid connection in the long term. The Welsh Government has issued a holding direction that stops Cardiff Council granting permission while ministers decide whether to call the application in.
