Proposed AI data centre campus on land north of Research Avenue North at Riccarton, on Edinburgh's western edge, promoted by Apatura through Apatura DC Project 11 Ltd. The 200MW is the developer's stated grid demand capacity, given in the proposal of application notice (25/03978/PAN) that City of Edinburgh Council approved on 22 August 2025; a notice starts pre-application consultation and is not a planning application. On 17 August 2026 Scottish Ministers ruled on a third-party request that the scheme needs an environmental impact assessment (DPEA case EIA-230-002).
