Proposed data centre on farmland at South Lanridge Farm, either side of Linrigg Road near Newhouse, with associated infrastructure. HFD Renewables NL lodged a proposal of application notice (25/01328/PAN) with North Lanarkshire Council on 8 January 2026, saying it intends to apply for planning permission in principle; a notice starts pre-application consultation and is not a planning application. The site plan is titled "DV6 South Lanridge", and HFD's own screening report for DataVita's DV4 site refers to this notice as its DV6 proposal. No capacity has been published, and no planning application had been found on the council portal as of 2 November 2026.
