Latos Data Centres is a privately held UK developer founded in 2021 by Mike Carlin, chief executive of MAP Group. Its first project is a hyperscale campus on a 16.42-hectare former landfill site on Rover Way, Tremorfa, in Cardiff, with a total of 90MVA across 50,400 sq m and a backup power feed from the neighbouring Tremorfa Energy Park battery storage site (DCD, November 2024). The company plans a mix of hyperscale and smaller modular edge facilities, and has reportedly targeted 40 UK data centres by 2030.
