Blackdog Data Centre and AI Campus
Announced in April 2026 as a data centre and AI campus on about 200 acres at Blackdog, north of Aberdeen, including a former Ministry of Defence firing range. It would start at 600MW. The developers rely on a 2017 permission in principle for a mixed-use scheme, and no data centre planning application has been found.
