Ashfield Land is a UK property developer working on residential and business schemes in England, Scotland and Wales, which bought a 64-acre site at Blackdog, by the junction of the A90 and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, in 2015. TechRE is described as a data centre consultancy working across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the two firms are promoting a data centre campus on about 200 acres there, reported at up to 600MW. Companies House lists Ashfield Land Limited as incorporated in 2002 with a registered office in Bristol, and TechRE Data Centres Limited as a Scottish company controlled by TechRE Consulting Limited of Edinburgh.
