South Gyle Data Centre (1 Redheughs Avenue)
Application for planning permission in principle for a green data centre with a public park and sports facilities on the former RBS headquarters site at 1 Redheughs Avenue. City of Edinburgh Council refused it in February 2026, and the developer appealed (DPEA case PPA-230-2794). Scottish Ministers recalled the appeal on 17 August 2026 to decide it themselves.
