Google Waltham Cross Data Centre

Google's first UK-owned data centre, at Maxwells Farm West (Theobalds Business Park) off the A10 in Cheshunt, opened in September 2025 as part of a two-year GBP5bn UK investment programme. It was built under Broxbourne's 2018 outline permission for a data centre of up to 65,000 sq m, with reserved matters for the data centre phase approved in September 2023. Google has not published its power capacity; coordinates are for the postcode on the Environment Agency permit notice (EN8 8XH).
