Google jobs and UK data centres

Google operates its own hyperscale data centres for its cloud and consumer services. Its UK data centre opened at Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, in 2025, on a 33-acre site, as part of a two-year £5 billion UK investment. The facility uses air cooling to limit water use to domestic needs and is built to support off-site heat recovery.
